Pioneer ecology
Ecological services
As experts in ecology, we offer a technical approach to habitat and protected species surveys. We cover the majority of terrestrial ecosystems including botany, birds, amphibians, reptiles, bats and other mammals. We work closely with clients and help both private and commercial companies with the right surveys, whether it’s a small residential project or a large-scale development.
It’s our job to make sure you’re complying with all UK and EU legislation in relation to building development and the environment. With our help, you can minimise your impact on the environment and gain essential planning consent so projects can go ahead.
Pioneer habitats
Habitat services
The main aim of our habitat work is to maintain, restore and create environments that allow local wildlife to thrive or, where this is not possible, to capture and relocate species to new environments where they can continue to prosper.
At Pioneer Environment, our habitat specialists are trained ecologists, meaning their approach is technical and well informed as well as efficient and cost-saving. We work with a range of species including bats, newts, birds, badgers, otters, and more. Our team is trained to manage woodland, heathland, and grassland habitats alike. With our help, you can ensure your developments are having the least possible impact on the environment and wildlife both on and around the site.
Our habitat services include:
Alternatively, we’re here to help you create, manage and protect any kind of habitat on an existing area of land or new conservation site.
